Two-Headed Ogre

I've been wanting to play 2-headed ogre a lot lately, but there seem to be precious few rules. So I'm turning to you all to tell me what you think on some of the finer rules that would be different from a standard game.

First, the deck limit. Should each deck only be legal by itself, or should the restriction of 4 apply to both decks?

Duplicate heroes. Allowed or no?

Uniqueness. Does uniqueness (in reference to cards that are unique like Magni or Thrall) apply to each individual or each party?

Do teammates sit side-by-side or across from each other? This one seems obvious to me, but a lot of people are saying because the policy documents in terms of team sealed say that players would alternate, that means the teammates should be forced to sit opposite one another instead of next to each other which just seems silly to me.

I think that's the only things I can come up with rules wise that seem to be really different. Leave your answers here or email me at blyonsmagic@yahoo.com

IMO restriction of 4 should apply to both decks, duplicate heroes should be allowed, uniqueness would apply to each party, and finally you should be able to sit beside your teammate but would still alternate like you, opponent 1, your partner, opponent 2 then loop to you again. This way it's really like your "together" if you know what I mean. >_<

(My apologies in advance for the double post (if there was one))

Over on the forum it did say the seating is supposed to be alternating play (a,b,a,b), but I'm not sure I like that format. probably too used to 2-headed in Magic I suppose.

Communication and coordination seem awkward with the alternating. You need to know what your teammate has to know if a play your about to make will be good or not.

Hey, this is Matthew Yakobina, my team finished second at the Chicago DMF Two-Headed Ogre tournament.

As said before, seating is ABAB, and duplicate heroes are allowed. Teammates have to be of the same faction. As far as communication is concerned, everything verbal said between partners MUST BE HEARD BY ALL PLAYERS.

Besides that, each team elects a captain. This is the player that rolls the die or whatever to decide who goes first, and this is the player that communicates with the judging staff. If your team gets to go first, it is your CAPTAIN THAT GOES FIRST, NEVER THE OTHER PLAYER.

That's pretty much it as far as special rules go.
